Steve Wilson, Owner

Steve is a founding member of Tug and Barge Solutions. After a career as a Terminal Manager, Licensed Vessel Captain and Tankerman, Steve started Ivy Marine. He grew the company from a single employee brokering company to a multi-employee, five vessel operation. In 2012 he partnered with Pat Folan to start Tug & Barge Solutions. Steve brings 40 years of Marine experience to TBS, helping it to grow to one of the largest Safety & Compliance Consulting firms in the country. Steve is a US Merchant Marine Office and has his Master of Towing Vessels and Tankerman licenses. He is ISO 9001 Certified, 40 Hr Hazwoper Certified and completed Crew Endurance Management Training. Steve serves as a Lay Leader at Loxley United Methodist Church and is a member of the Propeller Club and the Coosa/Alabama River Waterways Association. Steve is married to Gina Wilson, dad to Zack and Brody and Papa to Rylee Paige.
